A cute kid's movie with great songs and a real Rio flare. A wonderful movie for the kid in all of us. Watch the extra section where they show you just how much care was taken to get the exact images of the birds and the city scape of Rio. I was really impressed once I looked a little closer at all the time, work and expertize put into making this film. To all those nay sayers - do you have any respect for animation? Look at the DVD's extra section before making your final grade of this movie.

1 star for bruno mars, another 1 for the actual animation. the story is beyond lousy. My mind drifted almost the entire movie but i don't think i missed much.

This must be the worst movie ever! The first one was really good, but this movie was really cheesy and the plot was terrible. I doubt the third one is going to be any better.

Wild-born Jewel and domestically-raised Blu thought they were the only blue macaws left in the world, and even started a family together, but when it appears that there might be others hidden in the deep Amazon, Jewel insists they all go out and find out if it's true. Better than the first one (which was eye-candy but, to me, boring and slapped-together); funny with an actual non-contrived-feeling storyline about home and identity.
