God's Not Dead
A Christian college freshman, Josh Wheaton, and his atheist philosophy professor hold court on the existence of God. To pass the course, Josh must prove to the class that God is alive and well. For my review, this is a wonderful movie, good dialogue and great analogy. Very Engaging. Smart.

The debate was a work of art. The message is clear. And just to add, GOD is not dead, if so all life would cease pronto, as we know it, and GOD cannot die, because GOD is life. Thank You Pure Flix Entertainment, for this one.

I got to see this movie in theaters when it first came out and, lemme tell ya, I was AMAZED. A wonderful movie that really tackles some of the harder questions that modern Christians might face. I found how they tied all the stories together really cool, and although it may seem a little over-dramatic/far-fetched at some points, the movie is REALLY GOOD. My entire family loves it. Even friends of ours agree it was the best Christian movie of 2014. The directors did a great job, Shane Harper (who played the main character) and Kevin Sorbo (the atheist professor) were both excellent, and the plot was crafted well. Plus, got to see cameos from Will and Korie Robertson of Duck Dynasty and the Newsboys! Wonderful movie.

This movie is extremely well done! It really encouraged me to stand up for my faith as well as reminded me that I am not the only one who hates the theory of evolution. How can you hate God if you deny His existence? You cannot hate someone or something that does not exist. Period.

Excellent dvd. Would be good for those who do not believe in God. Good family Dvd, also a good dvd to form moral values specially for children.

Spoilers: this movie is terrible. As a catholic I am disgusted. Basically the movie tells us that unless you believe in God you will be abusive, ignorant, heartless, lonely and likely DIE a terrible death (unless you realize on your deathbed that you believe). The main student fails to prove God is not dead. Similarly the professor fails to prove he is dead. It's simply a movie setting bad people up for failure. The writing and acting are terrible. I felt like I was watching a bad TV movie. Skip it.

What people who did not go to college (not for long, anyway) think college is like. Also what people who have never met an atheist or a Muslim in person think that atheists and Muslims are like.

Not bad. Very good message. Some recognizable syndicated TV actors. Tough to make a move with this type of theme very entertaining, but they succeed to a point and made an enjoyable movie. The acting, story & direction will not blow you away, but it is a feel good movie. Nice job.

This movie was horrible. It was overly simplistic, terribly written, and only reinforces stereotypes of atheists, Muslims, and Christians.

People with strong faith may find a few redeeming moments in the film. Unfortunately those are lost in a script that is largely an insult to intelligent people and offensive to those who question their faith or are non-believers. The film may have intended on inspiring those who are seeking to build a relationship with God, but I can see this film as only further alienating those people.

Grown Ups 2 was at the bottom of my list until I saw this movie. At least Grown Ups 2 had a few cheap laughs in it.
