This movie was horrible. It was overly simplistic, terribly written, and only reinforces stereotypes of atheists, Muslims, and Christians.

People with strong faith may find a few redeeming moments in the film. Unfortunately those are lost in a script that is largely an insult to intelligent people and offensive to those who question their faith or are non-believers. The film may have intended on inspiring those who are seeking to build a relationship with God, but I can see this film as only further alienating those people.

Grown Ups 2 was at the bottom of my list until I saw this movie. At least Grown Ups 2 had a few cheap laughs in it.

This is the worst example of one-dimensional Christian pablum I have ever watched. I am a Christian and I hated it, especially the offensive way it portrayed other faiths and those who doubt. Its story-lines were completely unrealistic and contrived. This movie does damage to any Christian who believes in tolerance and compassion. As for people who aren't Christian, I can only imagine it would cause anger and distrust. How Christian is that?

It certainly made me angry.

An enjoyable and inspiring film.We opted for the teens to join us in watching but thought it was too heavy for the 8- and 10-year-old - it was the right call for our family.

This is a movie I could sit and watch over and over!! I love how even when no one thought that Josh should defend God (including his girlfriend and parents) he still did and in the end he saved many lives.

As a non-religious individual I viewed this film strictly as an off-the-shelf piece of entertainment.
I found the acting acceptable but the story line was so-so at best.
The debate between the professor and the pupil was invigorating as I've always been a fan of court room dramas.
I was not too impressed by the depicting of how Muslim parents simply throws out a daughter due to her deviation from traditional faith. This type of stereotyping was just too "American" way of labeling non Christians as bad/evil/non-caring.
The phone conversations that took place between father and son of Chinese origin borderline the ridiculous. The son spoke Cantonese while his dad replied in Mandarin. Professional film making? No.
What ticked me off even before the start of the film was how the DVD was set so I cannot skip or fast forward through the leading trailers. Of the thousands of DVDs I have watched this was a first.
Bottom line: if you are a Christian you will probably enjoy this film otherwise like what I did just simply treat this as something to help one kill some time.

I truly enjoyed this movie Kevin Sorbo playing a bully was so different and refreshing. He is a great actor with a huge range. He makes you really hate him in the movie. I loved the young man who set out to "defend God's honor". I would like to think as a Christian that I would be up to the task but his courage far surpassed mine. Pick this video up for your collection and share a night with your friends.

Has its positives and negatives but the highlight for me was the in class debates. There are some interesting points to ponder for anyone who would watch this.
