Despite the fact that this is a well made movie with really good performances,I AM SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING THIS DEEPLY RACIST HOLLYWOOD STEREOTYPE OF ATHLETICISM FOR BLACK PEOPLE PERIOD.This is a very straightforward, but linear take on Gabby Douglas's life. This is the same reason that this film is instantly forgettable, especially if it left out the really bad and the ugly about her life on purpose. The real life Gabby Douglas is one of the executive producers of this film so more than likely she left out the majority of the bad and ugly about her herself and her life period. These Lifetime TV movie productions always SANITIZE the real life story of your favorite IDOLS of so-called pro-sports and entertainment period,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
