The cruelty continues, convincing her that she should not "disturb" her son who was adopted while she was chained in a house of horrors.

Great read, kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole book. Very sad...

I am not a book reader but decided to give this one a try. I could not put it down after the first chapter. This woman deserves a medal and so much more for what she has gone thru in her life.

A remarkable woman. God bless her. Abuse similar to that of two other equally remarkable women, Elizabeth Smart and Jaycee Dugard. Every decent human being should read Michelle's book so that he or she will know how to (try to) protect themselves and loved ones. And you will not want to put it down.

She jumps around a bit in the beginning, but by the 3rd chapter you won't be able to put this book down. Unbelievable what evil a human being is capable of, but even more unbelievable is how Michelle can move forward without hatred and bitterness in her heart. Truly a remarkable woman. A must read. God bless you, Michelle!

Michelle has touched my heart with her heart-breaking story. From the beginning her life was a struggle and filled with pain. You must read this; it is a story of courage, compassion, and real life. She is an inspiration to everyone.

I'm currently reading this book, and though I'm not finished yet. I have to say it is a must read. It's a hard book to read, but it's excellent. Michelle endured some horrific events in her life, even before her abduction and came out all the stronger for it. One of the strongest women I have heard about.

Michelle Knight's harrowing tale of captivity. Her story is a testament of the human will to survive while being held captive by a depraved man. A truly remarkable story of abduction, captivity and freedom.
