Now all she has are the newspaper clippings that wallpaper her bedroom, and her recurring nightmares of an all-consuming fire. Not even Emmy's ex-boyfriend, field agent Harrison "Books" Bookman, will believe her that hundreds of kidnappings, rapes, and murders are all connected. That is, until Emmy finds a piece of evidence he can't afford to ignore. More murders are reported by the day--and they're all inexplicable. No motives, no murder weapons, no suspects. A little gruesome in parts but overall a fun read. Some characters - the female FBI agent who is misunderstood; the male partner who is sensible. But overall - not a bad summer read.

Started out as great book, until one incident spoiled it. The incident in question may seem insignificant to some but appalling to military personnel dealing with discipline. All in all a great read.

James Patterson has done it again. This was a nail biter...with twists throughout. It is a psychological thriller and quite engaging. I think I was the first reader of this particular book. What an honor.
