Lovely illustrations and fun book for preschoolers to read!

Enjoyed this book because of the funny monkeys and apes :)

One gorilla gazes out from the page, eyes twinkling with quiet wisdom and a touch of mischief. Next, two orangutans (a mother and baby) snuggle close, their vivid orange fur blazing. All the way to “10 lemurs,” each of the gorgeously painted primates in this captivating counting book looks ready to reach out and touch the reader. With plain white backgrounds to make counting easy for young children, and an ending that emphasises the relationship between humans and other primates, this uncomplicated yet compelling book is “a great spark for both science discussions and fun" (Booklist).

I love that the book is so oversized so we can really enjoy the beautiful illustrations. It's a terrific picture book about counting and primates too!
