I couldn't put this book down! It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. If you want to read a good mystery book, I'd definitely recommend this one!

I loved these books! They are definitely worth the read if you are a fan of Holmes and like to wonder about his childhood.

If you are a lover of Sherlock Holmes, then you will love boy Sherlock. The book explains what his life was like when he was younger, and why he is the way he is when he is the older Sherlock Holmes. I found the book very interesting, also his first case. Very good read.

I enjoyed this mystery series - I like reading the character of young Sherlock Holmes, and how Peacock created a history for such a well known detective.

I found this book interested until the last two chapters, then the story took a predictable turn and I lost all interest in the novel and the series. If it has one redeaming quality it is that this novel has made me want to read the original Sherlock Holmes.

"Eye of the Crow" is the first book in the "Sherlock Holmes as a Boy" series. This book was thrilling and took me for an entire roller coaster ride. It was a perfect combination of adventure, mystery, and suspense, with a blend of moments of fear, sadness, and joy. There are a few gory parts as well. I rated this book a perfect 5.

Next book in the series: Death in the Air

A fabulous story about Sherlock Holmes's first case when he was just a boy of 13. Tough times at school and at home affect Sherlock's life. What happens in this story explains why and how Sherlock grew into the brilliant but troubled man we have grown to love over the years. Full of action and intrigue for Sherlock's fans of all ages. If you like good detective stories, read this one! It's sure to engage your emotions one way or another.
